Just been watching qualifying for Monza... McLaren 1-2. Hamilton, then Button. Di Resta starting 4th. A good day for the Brits, methinks...

I've edited the title as we try to avoid spoiler titles for those who record and watch events later rather than 'live'.

Ah yes... good thinking

its going to suck without grojean causing some retirements tomorrow  everyone likes a good crash

Interesting reading today about the McLaren / Hamilton situation... Martin Whitmarsh has said that they aren't interested in renewing his contract unless he is 100% committed to the team and is happy to stay. If anyone wants more proof that Hamilton is indeed sniffing round Mercedes (or anywhere else for that matter), well there it is... personallly, I'd love to see what Di Resta could do in a McLaren. And Hamilton can chase whatever big money contract Mercedes are willing to offer...

Hopefully Lewis is leaving as it looks as if him and the team are best having some time apart.
Not sure what the fuss about Di Resta is all about, good driver but not convinced about his talent. Yes, he used to beat Vettel before they got into F1 but think he's more competent than gifted if you know what I mean. :?

Alonso fluffed it didn't he. Good show from Lewis... excellent driving

Force india should do well in the race. P Di R - good lad

Hamilton and Massa have a fair bit of history and could cause this weeks first corner incident

I think Hamilton can be quite aggressive to Button in the race tomorrow.

+1. Hamilton will be out to prove himself as team number 1 tomorrow. However, he'd do well to bear in mind incidents like Canada when Button will stand his ground and do it fairly. They'd be stupid to take each other out cos it's surely another McLaren win on the cards.

Was a shame for Alonso, would've made a good race if he'd been in the top 4. Real pity for Di Resta that he takes a grid penalty into the race tomorrow - seeing where he would've finished from 4th would've been excellent. Pub quiz question - when was the last Brit 1-2-3 podium?!

Polite request - if you have Sky dont spoil it for us who have poverty spec TV by posting race details....
