It's a shame you had to trade it in the end OP - yesterday's price would have been such a bargain, but as I've already got a Montego Blue Coupe it wouldn't have made much sense for me.
It sounds like the M3 has already made a big impression, hence no regrets!

When the insurance comes down I’ll deffo consider an MC.
However I feel that if I had one, I wouldn’t want to drive it much in fear of racking up too much mileage on it!
