Besides that car is still on Bridgestone Potenzas and does not include a second set of wheels and exhaust should the next owner wish to get rid of the Supersprint.

I have to agree with J.

Although a cracking example and someone is going to get a well looked after Coupe with cracking extras, the price is very steep in the current market.

a set of marmite replica wheels and a noisey exhaust - does that make it worth more than one in a dealer who can offer a 3 months compulsary warranty and finance etc?

yes, thats in a bmw main agent, who offer a 12 month FULL warranty with everything covered! anyone who buys your car is basically screwed if anything goes wrong with it once they leave your front door!

39k is certainly in the low sector so if you want to draw the max i would revert back to the stock wheels & sell off any bits you can then use that leverage to reduce the ask .
Right now a well specced well kept sub 40k Si 86 are sought after but some of the mods ( exhaust ) could deter the kind of buyer who will pay a premium for those miles & service record .

I would much prefer the OP's car. The one you recommend has been for sale for 4+ months so everyone but yourself must be missing it's USP..

Well good for you, your entitled to your opinion as I am, just shows if that's been for sale for 4 months then that's overpriced even at 12.5k, another desirable coloir with more options than the OPs car and the safety of a warranty!

Also, if you've been looking at it for 4 plus months, why don't you go ahead and buy the OPs car then if your in the market for one?
