Monkey’s turbo whip round

To be fair having spent a day working on this with Mat before it was revealed to the forum I can confidently say this is one project that is nothing like any other that has been documented.

Everything is being done to the highest standards with no corner cutting whatsoever and like any modification project it always runs over and costs more than anticipated.

What also makes this is that Mat is a bl00dy nice guy who would and has done anything he can to help anyone out.

Yea but I see no difference between this and the JE's Marmite project......... apart from, the MM has credibility for delivering, mechanical knowledge, common sense, oh and taste! It's a really interesting project and will be good to watch

(I'm already in BTW :) )

Who's gonna get mat to his target then? last 15 quid til cigar time.....
great result mat

Can't believe that he has almost reached his target in less than 48hrs.

It's a Testament to what a great guy Mat is and how good the Forum and its members are.

But he can't get the money until August ... :o

What even if he hits the target early????

Sounds ridiculous surly not.

I may have gone bankrupt by then, i'm well overstretched atm with new office build

The crowdfunding deducts 5% as well but I assumed that would be at the end and not when the target was reached.

Did a bit of reading on this from a tax point of view, but all a bit vague as this not a business funding which would be taxable. Perhaps a bit more reading required in case Hmrc wants their greedy bit as well.

Right, onto the next 'charity'....my ESS supercharger, Tillet seats, Alcon brake, carbon bodywork build :|

£30k should cover it :exitright:
