As the title says?

There is a BMW festival at the pod. Loads of BMs of all shapes and sizes. The strip will be open and they have a handling course. Trade stands and loads of other stuff. There will also be drifting passenger rides. It looks like a fun day out I am going i think it £18 tops for a ticket

If anyone wants to come let me know i may try and organize a few meets at locations on route depending on who wants to come.

Its usually a good meet if the weathers dry, last couple of times its been £25, for unlimited blast down the strip,+entry fee , theres a few Z3's going from z3.org , an if you want to go topless a crash helmet is needed,
Im holding on till acouple of days before to keep an eye on the weather,

Il be there. Going with a large group from the babybmw forum. Taking my 1 series rather than the Z4. Be nice to have a few of the Z4 forum members there too

This looks like a good day out, definitely considering it. Maybe get a group of us to meet before hand then drive together if there's enough? :driving:
 
Would have been going to Santa Pod but now got something else booked in with SWMBO.

I think next year we should arrange a Z4 Forum stand. Maybe I will volunteer.....
 
I will be there, booked in with the .org forum because there was much more interest on there. 26 Zeds going all grouped together
so should be good, as AlienZed says weather needs to be dry and focast at the mo says this is so!
 
If your paying at the gate then tell them your with the Zroadster.org forum so you can park in the same area as us ok.
 
What time you expected to get there? we will be getting there around 9ish so you will see mostly all Z3s so follow on.
 
Mm i just read the Zroaster forum and i may have been wrong about the parking for the Z3s, apparently they have passes for this
area!! Could be that this is strictly upheld but give it a go anyway. Its all one big parking area and we are all BMWs for the day after all.

Hey it's Gaz from over the other forum! As Zedwheels says we are more than happy for anyone who can sneak/blag on to our stand to do so. You usually need a stand pass to get to us but if you can get past the marshals all good luck to you :)

We usually meetup at Tesco in Wellingborough before hand, try and find Yocky (Tony) to see if has any spare stand passes before reaching the circuit. He has already been back to them once already, and I think he is picking some more up on the morning on the way in. You will still need to pay your entrance fee, but the show pass should speed you through the marshals!

We then convoy over from there. Some of the groups from the BMW CC meet up there too, so it's usually quite a good car park meet in it's own right.

Current numbers put us at about 25 Z3's and Z4's on the stand.
 
Thats great and very kind. Not sure what time i will be getting there. I am driving up with a good friend. It happens that his friend is the guy who is organizing the show. And i am not sure what tickets we have where we will be going. I will just turn up and see where it goes. I like the idea of parking next to you guys :thumbsup:

If not my car is quite easy to spot. have a look around but not to close LOL. The paint still needs lots of work. Partly my fault for getting carried away with wet sanding and polishing. Partly because i got fed up with sanding and polishing.

I might be bringing a few strut braces i have left over. Not sure if they will fit a z3 but the guys are welcome to try them if they want.
