Will do but maybe not tomorrow. The trouble being if the turbo is spooling. Its supply extra air. And it’s not tuned and i don’t want to lean it out and damage anything.

Thanks it is 100% home grown i have tried to make as much as i can. From the turbo to my own front bumper side skits. Hell i built a spray booth so i could paint it myself.

I am hoping it scares the crap out of me!!

i think it will scare the crap out of you,

and don't worry about some gentle revving at idle... it wont damage anything and you will most likely hear the turbo spool just idling anyway....

i have an intercooler if you want it, its absolutely HUGE... but... I'm not sure it will work for you... i got another larger one wit my last kit upgrade so the previous one sits unused.

Thanks Byron already have a little one installed. I modded mine to feed in and out on the same side. I do after all have lots of pipe work!! So doing this ment I didn't need to run charge pipes under.
I am hoping my little cooler will be enough.

it seems reasonably sized , keep an eye on intake temps however, it may heat soak on the longer pulls.

We shall see.
Again it's another potential problem if/when I get it working. This will be an evalotion project! I doubt my car will ever be actually finished.

Didn't get to play with the car yesterday
But I did get this and cleaned it up for my sister in law £350 112k miles 3.0d runs great drives great. I have told her I want first dibs when she is done with it. It would make a great daily/tow car on track days.

Thx for taking the time to update, still interesting to follow your project.

Balls - i've been in your town a few times in the past month and didn't consider hitting you up to say hi - would be super keen to see this beast now!

Always a pleasure meeting up buddy. Next time you come she might be running.

I see you have moved on. Shame but all good things and that. I have been meaning to read your post. I want to know what’s next??

A little update on this. I have not had much time to play with the car Mrs Monkey has started back at work. Si family time is difficult and time to play with cars is a rare commodity right now.

I have driven the car steering and clutch changes are amazing. It sounds nuts!!! Like completely bonkers  but the piggyback is not working out well. So I need to find another way to add and control more fuel. And timing and boost. Lots of ideas even some I can just about afford. Just waiting to hear back from some tuning shops.

My fear is that I will need to run a stand-alone ECU to control the engine. But I don’t want to lose abs t/c air con and stuff like that. So it’s a complicated instal and completely above mine or friends ability to do. And I just can afford the cost of this at the moment.

So to sum things up. This type of build is very difficult. Lots more work money and time will be needed than you first think. There will be problems! I have felt like giving up recently. But I won’t! I may have to take a brake and put the car back to NA fir a while. As not driving the car is really what’s getting me down. Or if my plans work out and what I hope is posible is posible then it maybe finished soon. But I won’t be putting too many eggs in that basket.

Thanks for reading forum friends
