Where are people getting these? I thought Mr MM had ceased production? I'm I need of a pair!
 
Anyone got any pictures of a pair of tips on a 3.0i ? mine are the ovalish ones and seem to measure up at 68mm x 58mm !!

Had a price from Sopers £85 including vat :(
Might just have a go at polishing the standard tips, does anyone know if the standard backbox is a type of stainless steel or mild steel with a rust coating ??
 
Hi the hole exhaust system is stainless steel and is on piece from the tips to where it joins the exhaust manifold. It should last the life time of the car. The tips on the other hand i believe to be a poorer grade material and chrome coated. I am not making tips at the moment but i think i have a decent set of tips for your car already polished. I can either send them to you or if your going to the meet Sunday i will bring them along. :thumbsup:
 
I have a set of tips i bought off here from a fellow member unused for a Z4M i paid £60 for the 4 i have decided to stick with OEM (was going to fit them on my M3) just want my money back so if these are any good to any one let me know.
I bought these off of Fast3000.
I will put add in the for sale section shortly.

Bring them with you on Sunday then please MM and I'll take a look, best bring my wallet with me :)
 
Yep no problem they are not perfect as they are original tips. But I have polished them and removed a fair bit of grime of of them. Just hope they are for 3.0l not a 2.5l. They won't cost you anything near the price of the new ones!!

We'll take a look and see, mine are not the round tips.
