Monkey exhaust tips

Idea for you Mat ?
Make the exhaust tips into candle holders so members can have them around the home to daydream about Zedding :driving: & the wives would have no idea what they were :D :thumbsup:

Ps / i'm gonna measure junior wilks's tips on his MK5 Gti & see if you have a already made set that would work , his look shabby & i don't want you to mail the polishing wheels to me again :oops:
 
I think I have done a set for a mk5 golf for another member. I seem to think about 80mm long with a 60mm fitting ring Andy. Gives you something to go on?

I have had a few requests for tips for the e85. I have ordered material for 5 sets I expect it in this week. I will be making them over the weekend if they are ordered and paid for before. I can't be sure of a next week delivery until the material has arrived!

I could also be tempted to make some e89 sets. They will have to cost more due to material costs. £55 for a set of 2. I can't guarantee they will fit!!! I have not done the r&d. So to make sure they will fit your car you will need to pull off a tip and measure the pipe. If it's round and 60mm they will fit.

The e89 (63mm) tips are a slightly smaller diameter than the e85 (80mm) but these tips will fit a e85 if you have a face lift car.

Ok so if you have ordered and paid for your tips. All the components are made. I just need to weld them p and polish them. But that will be tomorrow and Tuesdays jobs. They will be in the post Wednesday so should be with all of you in the UK by the weekend :thumbsup:

And they a looking good :thumbsup: to MM, but the alignment seems a shade out. I need a side view to confirm this, but IMHO they need a tweak :o

I would say that's just down yo the angle of the photo.
 
BradleyB - hadn't seen this previously!

Love the exhaust tips and car looks great.
Will make sure I remember AEZ and keep my eyes peeled.

If you're in the village what sort of times do you pass? Do you go to Sbury's at the same time each time?

I only ask because it will be sods law you're close by yet I never actually see you!

Ok I have 2 sets for a facelift car or 1 set for an M left.

These are likely to be the last sets. As I am very busy and have lost interest in making them.
