Money no object, what would be your two car garage? Feel free to expand on why.
And feel free to provide a runner-up to each option (no more than two)

I know this is like an impossible question which takes months of contemplation... but what would it be.

Be as overtop as you want... doesn’t matter if there’s only one in the world. (As long as it is still in existence)

To get started: (and I’m sure my options are very tame - but I want to drive them on the road, so for me track use, doesn’t matter)

1. David Lee’s Dino Monza 3.6 Evo
2. BMW M2 CS

Runners up
1. Williams Singer Porsche 911
2. Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano (Manual)

1. F-Type R Convertible (575PS)
2. Lamborghini Diablo SV (pre-facelift)

Runners up:
1. BMW M8
2. Ferrari 575 Maranello

Edit, added a runner up:
3. De Tomaso Pantera GT5

Lamborghini-Diablo-SV-7.jpg

1. Ferrari F40
2. Maserati Quattroporte Auto (not SMG) for shopping.

But if I had that sort of money I'm sure I'd have a few more than 2 cars!

Lambo SV - stunning.
If you like the 8C - check out the Ferrari touring superleggera - might be up your road

@mr tidy... you don’t have that sort of money - Boris Johnson has decided to give every UK citizen two cars, money no object. Not sure how it came about... but involved Jeremy Clarkson having a mental breakdown and kidnapping one of the Rothschilds senior family members.

No idea why but the front sort of reminds me of a Fiat Coupe (aero 3 does look good though) - I am an Alfa fan so 8C all day :D

Money no object, it would be a lot more than two cars. :o

Aston Martin One77 for the shopping and rainy days.

AC Cobra Original open top. For fun. :D

I just read the "Money no object" part of the heading! Maybe I should have said McLaren F1 instead of the Maserati for the practical choice. They do have 3 seats after all!

Almost chose the F1 as the practical car my self. but reckoned the Aston would look better parked outside SPAR while I popped in for some milk. :)

Would be in my 10 as would the F Type and Cobra

But in the F1 you could send a passenger into the Spar while you posed in the seat that has no door!

As much as I like recent Astons they are like current McLarens to me - all stunning but how do you know which one is which? :?

With money no object,I couldn't limit myself to just 2,lol....

So,with a massive,£167 million euro millions type win, my garage would look like this.....

Cars i can buy new now(albeit through third parties, possibly),or nearly new...

For fun, handling and outright power and looks..
1. BUGATTI DIVO (circa £5 million)
2.Aston Martin Valkyrie (circa £3 million plus)
3. McLaren P1 (£1 million plus)
4.Bugatti Chiron/supersport (£2.5-3 million)

For Family Duties,lol.....

1.Lamborghini Urus SUV(silly name, but lovely suv to drive and just sit in)
2.Range Rover Sport Overfinch
3.PORSCHE PANAMERA TURBO S
4.Aston Martin Rapide

For the fact I have always wanted one....or for the looks/performance, etc
1.McLarenF1 or F1 LM (NOW UPTO AS MUCH AS £22 Mi.lion for one of the two factory built lm(le mans) cars, though a regular F1 would do just fine, haha)
2.Porsche 911 Gt3/rs(favourite handling Portchester of all time)
3.Aston Martin DB11
4.Lamborghini Aventedor

For Track days....

1.McLaren Senna
2.Porsche gt2 rs

As Every day "runaroundds"
1BMW M8 GRAN COUPE
2.BMW M4 CS

Oh,and as my Classic choices, those would be.....
1.1963 Cheverolet CORVETTE STINGRAY,COUPE (Split rear window)
2.Mercedes Gullwing
3. EARLY PORSCHE,911 from circa 1970
4..Porsche 911 Turbo,1984
5.BMW M1
6.BMW 507 Coupe (especially the John Sortees one that recently went on sale)
Or a 507 Roadster
7.BMW E30 M3 EVO SPORT
8.Opel Manta gte,circa 1984
9.Vauxhalll Astra gte 16v, mk.2
10.Original 3 door Sierra Cosworth

AMERUCAN MUSCLE CARS....
AFEW,LOL

Of course, that would only be my extensive garage if I won serious millions on the lottery, lol.
All in,you would need around £40 million to buy all these, inc.the various unlisted American muscle cars
So,only ever a pipe dream

Otherwise,I will happily stick with my z4m :D :driving:

Oops, went a bit nuts there, but there's just too many great cars in the world

I would need more than two cars, modern cars Ferrari Portofino M, Bentley Continental GT V8 Mulliner, Range Rover Sport SVR. Classic cars Aston Martin DB4 Zagato, Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, Jaguar XJ13 (yes I know there's only one of them), Ferrari 365 P Berlinetta Speciale. Oh and a small collection of scooters, Lambretta GP200, Lambretta SX200, Lambretta Series 2 TV175 and a Vespa GS 160 MK2 and a Raleigh Chopper Mk2 (as I wasn't allowed one as a kid hence why I ended up bitter and twisted :voodoo:) .

This thread has gone awry - surprise sunrise:

1 Alfa 8C vert
2 DB5
3 F type
4 AC Cobra
5 McLaren F1
6 Miura
7 Lotus Elise
8 Renault Sport Spider
9 Defender (old and new) - need something to trawl the estate in
10 Pagani Huayra
12 Merc Gullwing
13 507 BMW
14 Agera S or one (Koenigsegg)
15 Corvette series 1
16 Stratos

Thats should just about keep quiet, but temptation is a terrible thing and I would probably have a Ferrari or AM vulcan somewhere along the line but also tempted by the Lotus Evija :D

I think I could narrow down to about 20  but I guess if its just two probably these:

1. Lancia Stratos HF Stradale
2. Lexus LFA

Hahah I knew this would happen... exactly why picking two cars is so difficult. Think of it this way, your best mate won the lottery... and he’s going to give you two cars only... but any two cars cause he’s so generous, and yes he won a crazy amount of money... so even a 250 GTO is possible

Excellent choice on the F40. And mclaren F1 for practicality.... very sensible

Yeh unfortunately you didn’t win the lottery, but your best mate has, and as a treat he’s giving you any two cars... GO
