Mondo's new plaything - all retrimmed now

What I've learned is that these cars are typically over-engineered - thanks, Germany! :lol:

It took me a solid week to strip the various parts out, retrim them and then refit them. And I still technically have the steering wheel to do yet, so there's another half day at least. Materials-wise, there's a good hide and a half in all the items I've done in my car, plus the foam and glue and thread, so the material costs alone will run to a few hundred quid.

If anyone wants to speak to me about having some work done (as one member has already done) then that's fine by me as long as it's fine by The Powers That Be? I always quote on a job by job basis and it's largely dependent on the materials - for example, Alcantara is much more expensive than leather is.
