Monaco GP in the Z4M - back (:

The last two photos - almost made me grab the keys to the M and just keep heading South :driving:

Love the South of France - Spent quite a bit of time in Cassis, Nice, Antibes and Cannes as well as St Maxime - lovely part of the world

I must admit Monaco itself did not do a lot for me and on non Formula 1 weekends looks a bit down at heel in comparison to Cannes.

My Mrs want to go to Monaco, two birds, one stone. Don't think she'd buy it

Looking forward to the pics

to be honest when I went i wasn't that impressed - worth going for an evening but their are prettier harbours on the coast - the waterfront at Cannes is more impressive .

...managed 24.7mpg... average speed of 200+kph...

This is about what I manage on that journey :driving: I've no idea how to get mpg in the high 20s, let alone >36mpg

Sounds like you guys had an awesome trip.

I've spent a reasonable amount of time on the Côte d'Azur, mainly Vence and Antibes, and I could happily live there. Monaco is definitely worth visiting, although not for more than a day or two. If nothing else, driving the route of the F1 circuit is fun, especially the hairpin and the tunnel  The roads in the hills outside of Monaco are great fun too.

I've never been impressed with Cannes, I find it a strange mix of pretentious and trashy. I've tended to visit on a Friday or Saturday night in the summer though, so maybe it cleans up its act at other times :idunno:

Writing this on the ferry, last 350 miles in the rain but managed tfo get the roof down in Cherbourg, looking forward to you pics and Go Pro and looking forward the next trip, Nurburgring maybe !
Cheers
Martin :driving:

It is a fantastic place to explore preferably not in july or aug 8) Biot & St Paul de Vence are favourites of ours . & the evening market at St Raphael & just about any of the beaches that dot along the coast :)
we're off to the Languedoc on saturday for 2 weeks , many places just as nice but much more low key :? suits me being a misanthrope :P
