Monaco Blue E86 with Anthracite MV2's

Evening All.

Im due to get my MV2's refurbed very soon and considering a colour change to Anthracite. What do you think? Does anyone have any photos I would be able to see? Thanks in advance, Olly.

PM me your email address, I did my MV2's in anthracite just before I sold it in April.I have loads of photo's. My Z was black, but I thought it looked amazing with the non silver wheels.

There's a finish called Black Chrome that also look great and gives best of both worlds. There's no chrome, so name is a little misleading!

I had my winter wheels done in Anthracite but went for gunmetal light for the AC Schnitzer's I have on now. To be honest I think the Anthracite is a little dark and the gunmetal gives a better contrast.

Not a great photo of the black wheels, the flash lights up the insides of the arches making the wheels look smaller.
Was this fresh off the Jack as well, Our 330 ( and I guess most cars do it) used to sit high when it had been on a jack/stand.
I saw a coupe the other day in blue with black wheels and it looked really menacing.

Yes - started off changing the wheels in daylight (hence the daylight photos of the steel wheels) and finished after dark (hence the flashlight photos of the black wheels). I also hadn't moved the car between taking the photos, so (as you say) it didn't have a chance to settle on the suspension and so the gaps look much bigger than they do now.

I'll retake the photograph in daylight once I get a chance, but the black wheels have grown on me and I quite like them.

I got mine repainted in Shadow Chrome (which is apparently pretty much the same as Anthracite and Hyper Black) and think it suits the MV2s perfectly:
