Mod's i'm planning on doing! Some advice please :)

I'm getting my Zed at the end of the month delivered to me in France, and already started buying and planning some light mod's

Here's my list of bit's i'm planning on doing:
First the pug stubby (thanks to the forum i got that 11€ from the dealer)
I've just bought a pair of LHD rear lights so i'll have a symetrical rear end (85€ second hand), i also plan to tint the orange cercle's dark either with fly eye stuff or something else ? i'd love to have them clear aswell but can't justify spending a huge amount just to have them clear !
De-ginger the rest (side indicators + headlights), is it best just to get clear side indicators straight from BMW?
Headlights, i'm going to need LHD ones anyways, so probably just go for the aftermarket AE's, but unsure about halogen or HID ? HELP
Painting the calipers red... The car is black, so i think it could look quite nice

I think that's about it for the moment, i'd love to do an interior mod, but i think it's going to cost a bomb... I'd love red (or maybe cream) seats, but hard to find, and expensive ! Thought about replacement seat covers...? anyone done this ?

Lots of modders on the forum but maybe just too much information being asked for - would take pages to respond to all your questions!

Perhaps prioritise and start by asking one or two specifics. Good luck with your Zed!

Welcome.... Lets have a go with what I can suggest:

1. Rear clears lights are cheap(ish) if you look about http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271803471941

3. I've got a OEM boot spoiler, eBay one's are not genuine.... They stick on the boot lid with adhesive so no drilling etc.... (simple install)
4. I got blue calipers.... personal preference...

6. Headlight de-gingering is lots of fun... use the forum search 100's of posts of how to do this. Aftermarket light units don't look great IMO

thanks for your reply and your help,

1) i think i'll wait and see if i'm happy with just dark ginger on the rear at first... i saw some one on here that had done it and it looked quite good
2) Thanks for that link, looks like there out of stock of the clear (white) ones, but i'll send them an email :wink:
3) yes i realise it's not an OEM part, but it looks like a pattern copy, and i like the fact it's simple to install, makes it look great
4) Coloured calipers are personal preference indeed, but i agree your car looks very nice, love the aero kit !
5) Thanks for that link, if i had the money sitting there i think i'd buy them and sell my black ones, know what they're worth the black ones?
6) Is that ironic about that being fun ? haha it seems like a big job to de-ginger the originals from what i've read, or not found the right post's? I think i'll end up going for the aftermarket one's in the end, but not sure about HID's or halogens, and wether they're plug 'n' play type or what :|

Bought those red leather seats thank you for the link... one thing off the list !
Next priority is de-ginger the lot :evil:

I wouldn't bother with the fly eyes stuff.

Looks okay from a distance but up close it looks naff in my opinion.

I have to admit looking at the videos up close it does look a bit strange...

I'm going to play around with them and see if i can tint them in another way.
