Grilles and carbon mirrors are a yes from me but then I've done the same.

I can't say I'm a fan of the wheels tho, sorry.

Hmmm not for me as I don't like mods but then again I think the car looks amazing as it comes unmodded.

Wow

I don't normally like black alloys but on your car it matches well. Makes me want to have a red car too. Only if I looked a bit less middle aged techie

Black wheels are a tough one as often photo badly but look better in real life.

Think the front black needs co-ordinating though... As the silver insert in the front brake ducts dont match anything now.

Also Maybe a black roof would complement the mirrors... As you have black A pillars already.

But i like it

First off, I think you get top marks for having a go at something that most only dream of doing - modifying their pride and joy. You then double up on that by being brave enough to ask others what they think. So here goes:-

I agree with Aquazi about the roof colour - maybe get it black wrapped until you're certain then you can always go back.

Two comments on the wheels: the bright rim is a very retro look for me (Cortina GT back in the 70's - what a larf that was). Also the pentagon emblem in the centre puts me in mind of the Chrysler badge. Lose these two aspects and get the roof colour changed and I think the look would start to gel a bit more.

For me I'd want the styling cues harmonising rather than fighting each other. I'd also then consider losing more of the brightwork. It's always the smaller details that make the difference.

Well you did ask. But then you had a beautiful car to start with.

Not a fan of black wheels in any case but they do contrast against the red.

I like the wing mirrors and other mods though

I'm more of a "If it aint broke don't fix it kinda guy"

Each to their own :).

Like the Stubby & Red calipers ;)

Yes, I am in this camp and I love it. The wheels really set the car of nicely, looks well aggressive and purposeful.

thanks for the comments guys and like i say, im not sure if it is an improvement. my next step if i change it is to go backwards to standard rather than make any more changes

With a black roof the car will look great, little bit like a Japanese drift car. I think you've done really well in pimping your ride whilst staying true to the original design. Most pimps seem to treat their car like a cheap prossie, yours may not be quite a courtesan but would certainly make a classy escort :)

cheers guys
