Hi guys...

So I'm looking at a few mods for my (to be) car...

RARB...FARB...Front Strut Brace...Lowering Springs!!!

Which is worth the money?! I'm lowering simply for looks, I'm not too concerned about the RARB as the rear is so small I dont think there'd be much flex in corners anyways! So to the FARB and Front Strurt Brace...is there any point?! Also, is there Front Strut an easy fit or do you need to start drilling holes into the sturt tops?!

Thanks,
Tom

Surely all the FARB and strut brace will do is stiffen the front more which will increase the understeer that the car already has enough of.

Maybe dialling in some more negative camber would be a better option?

Less flex = more stiffness.

The flexing at the front is what enables the car to keep the tyres flat on the the road - once you start stiffening it you've got less 'give' in the car before it gives up and breaks away.

For a track/race car the stiffness means you control when & where the understeer comes in - on the road it'll just create more understeer and front-end bounciness.

It's all well & good me saying it'll be rubbish, but if it's not a lot of cash, then I'd go for it and see what is does for your own car - you could always sell it on if you're not impressed.
