Modified E86 Z4 or Z4M Coupe or E89 - Intake, Wing, Wheels, LSD...? WHY?

Hi All,

I used to own a Montego Blue E86 Z4 Coupe fitted with Z4M front and rear bumpers, and quad exhaust. In a moment of madness a few years ago I decided to sell the car, and have since regretted parting with it!

I currently own a 2015 Lotus Elise Cup 220 with the Big Aero kit, but have a desire to get back in a Z4C or Z4MC again. E86 or E89 with a straight 6 engine considered.

Ideally I would like a car that has been modified with a noisy cold air intake, exhaust, LSD and wing (or at least some of those things). Please message me, or reply to this thread, if you have a suitable car for sale. My ideal car would be a wide body GT3 type replica, but appreciate that's unlikely to be offered here.

I regretted selling my first Coupe too! So I bought another, but I only waited a few days. And now I'm on my third. :lol:

You might be lucky enough to find an MC with an Eventuri or Gruppe M intake, but even if not at least an MC will give you an LSD.

Fingers crossed something will come along.

I just miss the straight 6 engine note. My Lotus is amazing in terms of how it handles and accelerates, but I feel it is completely uninspiring as the Toyota 2ZR engine sounds so dull. For me the engine spoils the car. It looks like a mini Le Mans car with the Big Aero kit, but sounds like a bog standard hatchback shopping car for your granny!!!

Hi Kev! I'll be putting my MC up for sale in the next couple of weeks. It's not as modified as what you're looking for but it's a good starting point if you'd like to take it further! It's got a GruppeM intake, Bilstein B12 kit, Vibra-technics engine mounts, 19" CSL reps, and obviously the stock LSD. It's currently on just over 65K miles, with excellent service history, forum history, and lots of recent documented upkeep. Please get in touch if you're interested!
