Can't I use it how it is now with the inner bit gone. I'm guessing that causes the delay right? well that's not there now and the diameter is constant all the way through, so should it not work?

Don't know how it differs, but mine also had a separate piece inside - as illustrated by in the how-to thread.

That is weird! Mine was one piece, as it was in my 330. Mine is a 2004 3ltr, so not sure why they would differ!

I think what this is showing is that numpties like me who are completely technically incompetent can't be trusted to do it so if the OP is still willing to organise a group buy, consider me in
