Ok, so most of these things have been discussed before in great detail, which may explain why you've not had a response.
1. Try BMW Sopers in Lincoln. ZHP gear shifter is what you want. Expect to pay £45, but when you order, mention the forum to get a discount. Ask for Jamie.
2. Try the Mangowalk shop on eBay. You'll pay around £11.

5. Quite a few members, including me, use Autoglym hood cleaner and protecter. There have been a few heated debates on which cleaner to use (in the views of some members, using anything other than BMW products will lead to instant destruction of the whole world), and whether a protecter is needed. I use Autoglym, and my hood is still there, it hasn't dissolved, melted, gone white or grown legs and run away.
