Mobility kit compressor not working

Has anybody else found their compressor packing in?

Haven't used it for several weeks (maybe months) then having found my pressures down got the thing out and it won't switch on. Thought it might be a faulty fag lighter socket but my phone charger still works and my spare compressor from the wife's car worked fine.

Just had a quick look at a new complete kit, £90 on eBay, ouch. Especially when I can get a basic compressor from Screwfix for £12.

Would welcome any assistance, thanks!

Isn't a compressor a compressor a compressor? Buy the Screwfix one and stop loosing sleep.

Although Ive got runflats on, I still carry a can of jollop and a compressor made by RING - £12 so can't be robbed at that price

I don't have one so cant verify, but a lot of these 12v appliances have a fuse built into the plug, try unscrewing the last bit with the sprung positive terminal & see if theres a fuse in there.

You can get them a lot cheaper than that on the bay. But as others have said just get a Ring one.

Cheers guys, it was just that it's the pretty little oem version and I didn't want to chuck it away in case I was missing something obvious. Like the fuse, ahem.
