Mobile Tyre fitter - Anyone used one?

Anyone got any recomendations for a mobile tyre fitter,

Trying to cost up if I should get my tyres delivered and then fitted at home by one company who has quoted me 760 inc VAT

Or find someone who fits them, as I can buy them delivered for 618.

Anyone know??
 
Not really answering your question but I enquired with a couple of local mobile fitters when I bought my aftermarket rims.

All came back with the same issue of not having the equipment to deal with fitting tyres to my wider rears.
 
how wide are they?

8.5 and 9.5 should be fine.

They should no what there fitting when you quote the size of the tyre.

So im looking at 235 and 265 they should be able to easily fit them right??
 
Depends on the quality of the mobile fitter TBH. I've used a local independent guy near me: 30+ years experience of tyre fitting and has decent equipment in his van. No bother removing 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 runflats from my 108s without making a single mark on the rim. I doubt everyone is as good/careful as him though.
 
I use the BMW dealer for the fitting, £12 a wheel but warranty against damage.

Got two wheels refurbed due to damage by them so far ...
 
I recently had my rears replaced by Blackcircle.com using a local mobile fitter. I was very happy. They didn't mark the alloys so all good :)

I would of used blackcirlce but they cant get hold of my tyres.

Well I have ordered the tyres now from tyremen.co.uk GBP618 inc free delivery on 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 Vredestein tyres.

So pretty happy with the price.

Got quoted 90 to fit them by a company in battersea who will come out and do them and apprarently they do the local porsche delaer, but im not convinced, so need to find a reliable outlet in London.

So any mobile tyre fitters apply within.
 
i'm looking at present to ditch the runflats and blackcircles.com are coming in as the cheapest followed by tyretraders.com but there vfitting stations are not far from me and i have just had a quote for £420 to fit falken ze912 225/40/18 and 255/35/18

Used them just last week to get my rear tyres changed. 255\40\18 conti SC3 @ £450 for the pair, including fitting disposal and balancing.
he pointed out any damage i had on the wheel before he took them off and put them back on with no damage
 
Yeah full set of vreds.

235/35/19 on the front and 265/30/19 on the rear.

618 delivered.

Was very happy as it even beat camskill on price and they had them in stock. so will have them tomorrow.

+2. Not on my zed, on the previous car. Great service and cheapest like for like I could find (for Falkens I think).
 
i ve dumped the run flats got e4 tyres to come to my house to fit 4 new normal tyres did an excelent job give them a try 40% cheaper than my local tyre garage
