Mobile again Woo hoo !!

Nice one.
Did you buy just the fuel cap strap or did you have to buy the cap as well? Realoem doesn't seem to show the strap separate.

Hi Bladeowner,
I used this off a Mini, I bought it from BMW though as it was "only" £8.99!

Glad you've got yourself back in a zed. The positivity you have considering what's happened really is inspiring. Good luck with the new car and hope you enjoy it. 👍

I assume thats a royals wheel. Looks great, I loved mine when I had it.

Don't know how I missed this thread Stu :? Your new zed looks cracking mate and liking the mods you've done so far  Hope you enjoy your new zed as much as your previous zed :)

Good news :D I think that you will come to love the auto box it's very smooth and works very well with the 3.0. It pulls like a train !

It most certainly is Mack. I had exactly the same on my manual that I had to sell. Once you've had that refinement you really can't put up with the skinny old style original.

Next on the list is the aero skirts and front bumper. Then it will be the to get the 108's up to factory finish. Only downside of wheelchair use is that the interior is taking a bashing from my sloppy transfers with my wheelchair, bouncing it off every surface

But I still get the driving experience so hay ho

What a difference the sport button makes with the auto compared to the manual. It really hangs onto the revs and gives a much more connected feel to the throttle response.

Good to hear you're getting a feel for the auto, I've always been intrigued by the reports of the auto driving experience - I'd love to try one some day.
Sounds like the passenger side is taking a few knocks from your wheelchair - how do you get it in and out, and get into it, do you have to lift it over and across the drivers side?

Hi Marlon

Yes the chassis on my chair is rigid, I basically remove the cushion, fold the back and remove the wheels outside of the driver's side. Then I try as carefully as I can to manoeuvre the chassis over to the passenger side, onto the seat followed by the wheels. It's when I'm carrying the chassis over that space being at a premium, I end up bashing every conceivable damageable interior fixture!! :headbang:
But what price for freedom  :driving:
