:D Very satisfying day of actually getting to drive my newly acquired E85 3.0. I had needed to change from my beloved 2.5 SE manual to an auto due to the small matter of being paralysed from the chest down, due to a RTA in March on my Ducati Diavel.
My new wheels needed to have hand controls fitted.
Whist at that fitted the Cruise control, cupholders and a few other little irksome jobs such as chrome bolt covers, carbon wheel centres, dust caps and fuel cap retaining strap.

Good to hear you’re mobile again, how does the auto feel compared to your last zed?
Rob

Hiya how's the toe?

Yes it's good, especially the sports button. But totally different from the manual. It's got the sound/noise generator which sounds good

How do the hand controls work?
Do you twist it to accelerate and press it to brake?

Hi there

The lever is a push/pull, pull for acceleration and push for the brake. I could've got a trigger throttle which requires to be fitted through the multiplex wiring. Not cheap!

Great stuff! Have you taken the foam out of the sound generator? Sounds even better!

Well I have a piece of foam In with the paperwork which I was told I could refit, if the noise bothered me, so I think I'm running without foam. Sounds delightful

Great to see you've sourced an auto  I believe they are quicker off the line than a manual

Not something I can testify to.......at the moment! :D
