Fair enough it wasn't a great offer. I am sure there will be another there. I am seeing the guy on the 21st that I done the tips for before. I will ask.

the tips on the 35i are the same as the IS , they are also spot welded

Due to the position of the welds its a bumper off job to grind off the tack welds
 
I wouldn't call those spot welds holding the tips on they're two seam welds, as seen on the second picture.

Side note, it's ironic that the inside of my exhaust tips are cleaner than the outside after a cursory wash.
 
All being well Stuartinzg is bringing his cut off 35is tips to the Watermill meet for Matt to measure up etc.

That is if he can find them in his garage... :roll: :wink:
