Mixtape Mix-up

Nothing I like better than driving along listening to a new mix (ok, probably like a few things more than that but you get the idea). I'm always on the lookout for something new to listen to which gave me an idea - what do people think about arranging a mix album swap? Each person that signs up is randomly assigned to one other person and has to make a 12 to 15 track CD to send to that other person. I've seen this on other forums and it seems to work quite well. If successful it could become a regular, 6-monthly thing with each CD based on a different theme, genre, etc.

The first could be a mix album of your favourite driving tunes?

What do people think?
 
Funnily enough jimmy I was thinking of somthing similar recently for meets whereby someone made a meets cd up..
Just made up a z4 trax playlist for the car which included:
one step from hell heart of courage (Ferrari ffmusic.. Awesome)
valerie ... The zutons
the rising... Bruce Springsteen
amongst others...

The two steps from hell music is brilliant in an open top car..

It actually sprung to mind for the Skye meet - everyone should make a mixdisc up and swap them over. Then I got to thinking it would be worthwhile seeing who on here fancies doing it and making it a postal thing. Don't seem to have many takers though!

P.S. I wish you hadn't mentioned MFSW in the other thread - now very tempted and have been scouring the internet for prices! :?
 
Can't believe they now cost 400 quid... I was upset that I missed them at 210 and paid 240... BMW must have realised or thought the part was too cheap
 
I know. Planning on phoning Joe tomorrow and if it's too expensive I might buy one of the MFSW wheels from Germany off of ebay.
