Misting lights split again....EDIT job done.

What did you use to seal them before - I would have thought a butyl rubber strip adhesive would have been ideal as it's gap-filling and remains flexible and self-repairing.

I used waterproof silicone, lasted a few months then went misty then water droplets, so ive used same stuff some another member used, fingers crossed :dizzy:

Don't know what you're doing wrong as I did mine 5 years ago and never an issue since. I suspect it's more to do with the rear covers not sealing as silicone makes a perfect seal.

But I'm guessing you removed the covers whilst splitting?

Disturbing old covers is often a key factor to them letting moisture in. For the sake of about £20 I'd get two new rear covers tbh.
 
Just noticed you have a coloured badge in your engine bay... Did you put that there?
