Tim you amateur...1 night...pft!!!!

Mines been in for 3 days, then 10 days and I found out yesterday that they want it all next week.

I'm getting an Orange 116i aparently!

Lol just picked Zeddy back up from the dealer It's not fixed but they have diagnosed a noisy waste gate solenoid valve. Part has been ordered from Germany so hopefully all will be well Week to 10 days for the part to arrive. Glad the dealer has found the cause of the noise.

And you got to drive the new 1'er, which confirmed you were right to get the Z4!

So, what does this noise sound like? I'll see if I can hear it on mine above the drip drip drip I get...

Cheers Kevin, I actually liked the new 1er with the diesel lump, it's pretty nippy but the interior is such a let down and not what I expected. The quality and look of the plastics is I feel worse than the old model and looks pretty low rent

The whine is well a whine lol like an electric toothbrush and fairly loud when cold but goes once warmed up. It's pitch changes with engine revs.

Still no more leaks

Good to here they know what the problem is with your Z.

My neighbour has one of those and treats it like a Sunday car. Have to say I hate it and I don't get the point of having a family hack and saving it for weekend drives. Of course I tell him it's a lovely little car, the way you do. Better two faced than the hurtful truth some times.

Must tell the Mrs what I really think of that new top. Or may be not.
