Missing Part On Intake? Please Help!!!

Just got doing a bunch of work and had the intake off. Now I see a spot where it looks like a connector should go, like the ones for the CCV/PCV takes. I don't see any lines laying around that would go there and nothing in diagrams. This is on a 2008 3.0si black cover. It sits right behind the throttle body. This engine uses the PCV so the ccv tubes are pretty straight forward. Is it supposed to have a cover? Thanks so much for any help!

I personally don't have that new of a z4, and don't know if it is the same, but hopefully this is somewhat helpful (couldn't find any diagrams with the proper orientation)
