Just quickly grabbed a few shots of the z4 under a very unusual sky, giving the car a colour reflection I've never seen before. By the time I got the car into a nice background view it was too late to get a full on shot.....a great opportunity missed I feel

Silver Grey! Does tend to take on the hue of the sky. In this country that means it's usually extra-grey.

Wondered if it might be Stratus Grey - that brings out lots of colours depending on the light but at other times can look quite flat. Yours looks a little too light grey for that colour - Silver Grey sounds right.

Nice effect - to find out for sure pop the bonnet open and based upon my E86 there should be a plate riveted on that includes the paint colour (albeit in German) - my Ruby Black one says "Rubi Schwarz" IIRC.

I never seem to get a good shot of mine, but in good sunlight it doesn't look black at all - so in the UK it mostly looks black!!
