Hi All new to the forum.
We are experiencing an intermittent issue namely with a miss fire and the engine running very lumpy.
I have change the Coil packs which sorted the problem but in reoccurs usually just after dropping into sport mode and opening it up.
my question is (not being a mechanic) is there a sensor that is throwing a fault coding (as yellow engine light comes on)
if I turn the car off the issue clear itself , it has also cleared itself after a few minutes driving sedately??
I have spoken to BMW but they want the car in for a full on diagnostic.
I've even taking it to an independent BMW specialist but when I do the problem never presents itself?
Model is 2.3S line registered 2012 48k on the clock had her for 2 years without issue.
