Never had a problem - they've always been fine with us over many years.

I agree, but generally in foreign parts and when in a significant minority, we acknowledge our own countryman , at least with a nod!

Sorry I missed your post. We spent some time at the Hartenstein Airbourne museum, Bronkhorst and Brummen.

We had a very nice meal at a hotel called the Golden Carp somewhere in that region .

I've just googled de Grebbeberg and that's for the spring next year
It's pity we hadn't known about it as it was only 20km from where we were staying in Wolfheze.

It was part of our school trips, very impressive really. Best time to visit is on the 4th of May as that is remembrance day.
