Mirror to mirror width?

Hi all,i have done a search and read the manual, but it only gives the wheel out to out measurements, without going out and getting a tape measure to measure the mirrors, does anyone know the out to out width of a roadster?
As we are putting the house on the market we have been looking at 'better area' houses but these only have single garages. Thanks :)

I think single garage doors are pretty standard in size, however having measured my garage's dimensions recently for a potential fit out of shelving I can tell you that the opening into mine is 213 cm, and I have a couple of inches on either side of the wing mirrors when I stick the car in.

Sounds the same as mine, about 2" either side.

No worries Andy - let us know how many people allow you to park your car in their garage when viewing :D

Seriously, it is the internal measurements you need to watch - many new houses with 'integral' garages really skim on internal space. The narrowest side of my garage is about 35cm wider than the door, and you can get in and out just about comfortably. The old carpet on the wall trick will be necessary though

 -i'm used to plenty of room for parking!!!(see threads -My kind of parking 1,2 and 3) :)

If it stops raining I'll post a pic of mine Andy, it bloody tight one side, and as Bing says a bit of carpet on the other side is very useful

I've just programmed one of my keys to give me convince opening so the window opens fully when you open the door if I press the unlock button twice. It then closes automatically once you close the door.

It's not a real problem, done it for the last 5 years, it just I can program these things now so working out what is useful and not (key in ignition warning switch off straight away)

Do you have the window opening fully so you can jump out of your zed like Dukes of Hazzard? :)

So can I do this with my key without stealer intervention ? To be clear, key in, one click (or more ?), then switch off and remove key... At which point I'll have convenience opening ?

With the window fully down it's much easier to get in and out.

No dukes of hazzard though due to fear of damage, but if daisy wanted to tag along (although I don't think she's as hot now :(

I still have the original sales brochures for the E85... and I've just dug them out... :D

Width including the mirrors appear to be 1904.

No, it needs programming with a PC, but I can do it for you at the Sussex meet if we allow time
