Mirror mount trim

Hello all,

Does anyone know the name or part number for the little black plastic triangular trim that sits on the outside of the door where the mirror mounts? I've looked through the parts diagram at realoem [1] and it doesn't appear to be listed individually, unless I'm misunderstanding the diagram.

Mine have faded quite badly, and before I look at how to remove and repaint them, I'd like to at least get an idea of the cost of replacement. I know I'm a massive tightwad and will end up with a rattle can of satin black and three snapped plastic clips - so I'd like to know how much it's going to cost me to fix the mistake.

Three bolts to undo from the inside behind the A pillar trim and they'll fall off.

Get the paint warmed up!
 
Thanks chaps! That gives me something to be going on with. What's the worst that could happen?

It isn't cheap, but then you don't need to use much so it has lasted for ages. Which is handy because as good as the finish is it only lasts 6 months or so.

But it's so much easier than taking them off!
 
Totally agree with the C4 Technique. That tiny little bottle has lasted me 10 years so far, does wonders and I still have some left in the bottle.
