mirror motor / actator

hello all, im after some advice, i annoyingly bashed my passenger side mirror into a parked (badly) lorry a few days ago, and the glass smashed, not a problem i thought they cant be expensive on ebay, so i ordered a new one for about a tenner (heated and with backplate) however when it came to fitting it, it would seem that the area you actually push the back plate onto was also damaged (its a circualr bit of plastic that seems to move around, i have been told by a mate this part is called the actuator or motor (could both be wrong).
Basically id like to know where i might be able to get this part from, and hopefully not have to shell out a fortune for it. Thanks in advance for any help or advice

had to tax the dam thing that morning aswell (£270) and the part will prob be about £200 for the whole thing, really starting to think about selling the car and gettin a moped !!!!
