Mirror issue, thoughts please?

Hi guys. I have an issue which I think maybe my mirror control switch.

My mirrors will adjust apart from the left arrow…. Fold in drivers side and fold out passenger side. Also they no longer fold in, and no sign of them even trying to do so.

Do you concur it’s more likely to be the switch as it’s the same adjustment on both mirrors?

Give it a clean first they are easy to open up

They get very gummed up

Definitely the switch if it's the same both sides.
Open it carefully as the internals come out like hundreds and thousands!!
Best to hold it upside down.

From the door you mean?
Trim tool under the front edge and gently lift it. Not too close the the pointy bit though or it'll break it.

So a butter knife with some insulation tape around it :rofl:
