Mirror heating fault

My drivers door mirror has gone a bit wobbly and when I had a look at it I could feel that the glass is hot all the time, so is passenger side and I think washer jets too.

I'd assumed that this was linked to a temp sensor for winter weather. Outside temp display is correct, so does anyone know if there is a separate sensor somewhere else?

Or are they all like that, sir?

The mirrors are constantly heated regardless of outside temp. This can lead to the glue loosening and glass dropping off. Best to check if the whole mirror and heat pad just needs tightening or if the glass is loose. If the glass is loose best pull off and superglue back in place

The mirror heat is supposed to shut off at 25C, so except for the hottest days, yeah, they're always on. The washer jets are always heated. Definitely fix the loose glass before it falls off on the motorway.
