My clutch has been bit rubbish over the past couple of months. It feels like it is slipping with a bit of vibration as I let it out. Then it lurches a bit as the clutch did actually connect. I was having to be careful and slow to make smooth progress whilst pulling away. It wasn't making driving any fun at all!!
Then all of a sudden, it's absolutely perfect. It engages smoothly, pulling away just feels natural. I don't have to think about it. If I build the revs to 2000, let the clutch out and gun the throttle, it bites perfectly with no slippage or any feel of inertia giving that lovely elastic feel.
So how can this be? What causes these anomalies that make me think my clutch is on the way out? I know there are certain things like temperature and things like that which must effect the clutch but what else could cause the inconsistencies?
Any body else experienced this kind of clutch issue? Cheers
