This Z8 was in a parade lap around Newport when I was at the Nocturne floodlit cycle race on Saturday! Sounded great! 8)

Never liked 'em Bing from day one. Now a GT3...well I just happened to stroll into Porsche Nottingham today to have a look (well a drool actually) over one they have in at the moment.
 
Always loved them, they look stunning. One of the (if not the) best looking BMW ever built in my opinion.
 
Absolutely gorgeous, however just waiting for the comment "it needs bigger wheels and lowering" :poke:
 
Ah, now the Alpina version has the bigger wheels....

This car was designed to try and be a classic from the outset which in my eyes at least makes it a fraud. It was supposed to be a retro take on the 507. In my eyes it's a pastiche, just as the updated Beetle VW is, or that god awful MG that was released 20 odd years ago.
