Minor Repair on Rear Heated Screen

Bottom two elements on my rear window demister don't appear to work.

A quick look and it does appear there are a couple of tiny breaks in the elements.
I googled how to repair and it was a rabbit hole of products which appear to have an equal number of 5 star and 1 star reviews. Not a good sign

Couple questions -
How do you access fully the inside of the rear screen?
Does anyone recommend a product that actually does work more often than not to pen in the breaks?

You could try starting the roof opening process and stopping as the rea shell is perpendicular to the front shell to improve access, itll be tight no matter what you do.
As for element repair products, I have never heard f one that works for more than a few days if at all, usually silver based conductive paints that bridge the gap. Usually looks unsightly.
You could check your insurance, if glass replacement does not affect no claims then its hammer time YAY

I might be completely wrong on this, as I usually am, but I think mine is the same - the bottom elements dont work.

I always assumed those were some sort of arial, ie phone?

Like I say, could be talking out my arse, but something to double check....I'm sure someone else will reply soon with more knowledge.

No aerial elements in rear window…but in many other locations ..

Years ago (maybe 15-20), I bought some conductive paint to repair a broken 'spot' on a rear demister.
Last year I got it out of the drawer to repair a mates, and it still worked!
Tip was to stick a thin strip of masking tape either side of the wire and then paint - worked a treat
A felt tip dot on the outside also helps with accuracy
Only visible very close up

Quick visit to the garage and found it - Granville Electro Conductor
A Google search reveals it's still available
