Folks,
I washed and polished my car a few days ago and I have noticed a few large surface swirls on the lid of the boot, must have picked up a small piece of grit on sponge! or I've just not noticed before I got it!
My car is Ruby Black )Sept '08 and I can see these scratches when I look closely for them! It’s not swirling of the paint its definitely light surface scratches. Unfortunately the camera doesn’t pick it up. I could live with it but being me I want it back to being perfect.
I use Autoglym products (shampoo, polish & ultragloss) but I would like to open me eyes to the world of detailing and using more refined products can anyone give any advice on what products to remove the scratches and then what would be a good starting point for cleaning/polishing products.
I have subsequently read the two-bucket idea and buy a proper wash mitt rather than a sponge - these methods have been taken onboard! Wish I knew earlier!
Many thanks,
Mike
