Mini meet at work...

Since my work colleague/friend bought a 3.0 Z4 this weekend, we had our first meet at work :P

Not the best pictures, it was just overcast and dull, but was nice to get a few snaps.

Enjoy!

Quick, swap your wheels over when they're not looking! :P

What colour's quickest then?

:fuelfire:

Nice post Dave, mines the darker coloured one (not sure what the official name of the colour is).

We should get some better photo's when the lighting is better. In a few weeks when the sun is setting as we leave work we can just pull up out on the grass and take some better ones.

Since we are the video team at work we might do some videos too, just because we can :D (not many good Z4 videos on youtube :) )

Hey Mr W - Nice location to both work and photograph the Zed's

Nerra - The Sterling grey reminds me of 18 months ago. Mine was identical to it before I took the knife to it and it's the best colour but don't tell Dave

Nice pics, shame about the parking :P

Looks like a beautiful place to work, need any 3d modellers? :poke:

My workmate has been keen on a Z4 for a while but is put off since I have one, he doesn't want the same. He's sticking with his S2000 for now.... I'll have to tell him, aslong as it's a different colour, they'd look great together.

Haha, it is a nice place to work. Shame we are stuck inside most of the day but hey ho, thats work for you. It's nice in summer to get out for a walk and eat lunch etc... tis an ok pub just over the grass for a swift pint and pie.

Yeah Herminator, Z4's do go ok together. There is still the directors Z4 to wheel out too, the Maldives SMG one I was thinking of buying. Just she hasn't cleaned it for a while and so we excluded her from the mini meet :P

As said, when the days get a little bit sunnier and the cars are nicely detailed up we will get some decent shots on an SLR, and maybe all three lined up :)

Great pictures! I know im biased but you can really see the shiny'ness more on the sterling grey :)

And Nerra, STUBBY, badly.

Yep, Stirling Grey is a very nice colour.

Silver doesn't look it's best on an overcast day, just looks light grey. Sterling is dark enough to benefit from glossy reflections, while not being so dark it looks dirty easily.

I rekon it's probably the best colour all-round, but I know that Titanium Silver in it's ideal environments (sunsets, sparkly sunlight etc) does look damn nice :)

I need a stubby too, they do look a bit odd with those long aerials.

Other jobs to do first though... still strongly pondering a set of new 107's!

Dave

It's east of Wakefield.

Nice enough pub up there too, do an ok beef & ale pie... used to do Hoegaarden and a superior type of pie years ago, but they have got rid of my fave 'pie' beer and changed the pie to a top-crust only type :P

Still ok though :D

Haha yeah its on the list of things to get definitely.

I think we forget how nice our work and surroundings are. People are always amazed when I show them pictures.

The first z4 meet was good, pics were taken on my 5 year old canon compact but as Mr Whippy said there will definitely be more to come.

We have access to some nice HD equipment so maybe some Vimeo quality videos are in order for the near future.
