There is a solution to this problem and general thuggery. Forget the Anti Social Behaviour Orders and liberal attitudes to punishment,
All of these should be done one after the other starting with the child abusers then all junkies as it'll cure their habit and save a fortune on the Methadone program that doesn't work,

I had a problem last year with to boys trying to steal the dust caps off the car. Went to the door of one of them and told his mother (who denied it was her son) that when he comes back with a sore face it would have been me that done it. No more trouble!
Had problems about 2 months ago with the unit next door to where I work. It's a training centre for idiots who didn't learn anything at school and are around 16 – 18 years old. They had been throwing stones at seagulls and hit our window. As there's usually around £120,000 worth of cars sitting outside and my Z4 I went to have a word.
Spoke to one of the guys that worked there in front of the idiots that had been throwing the stones and said the following in a very calm voice.
Just to let you know, if any stones hit my car I will not be contacting the police. I will personally drag them out of here and into next door. I will then kick seven colours of s**t out of them and then contact the police or ambulance whichever they need first.
I was then invited inside by the owner. He's a well respected businessman where I live and very approachable.
I told him if he couldn't control these uneducated fuckers I'd be back to have a word in his ear. He then looked at me and I had to reiterate my intentions. i.e. Any damage to my car and I will come back and kick the s**t out of him!
Surprisingly we have had no trouble since then.
