Well after enquiries it appears that the Miltek exhaust is no longer made for the 35i

Which performance exhaust are people fitting ? , there appears to be only a handful to chose from such as supersprint , Remus , and the expensive Eisenmann

Has anyone had a custom exhaust fabricated ? , would be interested to hear feedback / pics

These guys aren't far from yourself & produce a high quality bespoke product
Ask for Nige & i.m sure he'l help you out as they were putting a 3.5 system together

I'm actually in discussions right now with Powervalve. I had my 35i up on the lift a month or so ago and they took some measurements.

I've shelved it for the immediate time being but i'm going to go back in early january and discuss getting the work done. I heard an exhaust they made for a 2015 M135i and it sounded truly monstrous. Like a flamethrower.

They use some proprietary valve system that is activated when you come on high boost (i.e above about 3k rpm? i think?)

My wife has one of their Powervalve systems on her Scirocco 2.0TSI which has a good few other mods on and a stage 2 Revo remap, does what it says on the tin and isn't too loud or drive you mad drone, the valve system which works off engine vacuum seems to work well. I remember Porsche employed a similar system for the sports exhaust on my old 987, only difference was Porsche use a small motor to generate vacuum rather than a direct takeoff off the inlet manifold. Build quality seems very good and shes had it on for over 2 years with no problems

Also spoke to the guys there a couple of weeks back, ref doing something with my 28i, after a chat, decision was to find a rear box from a 28i that they can open up and have a look inside and see how they can play with it, as the 28i have a bypass valve fitted to the standard back box.
G-Power in Germany do rear silencers pricing ranging from 1475.00 euros for a 20i (2x 76mm) to 2153.90 euros for a 35IS (4x76mm) then shipping on top of that

Thanks for all the replies guys

@ Fredg , did you talk rough costs when you were there ?

I take it the valve on our standard exhaust operates as the powervalve exhaust system off boost line ??

Had a look at some of the videos , look like some nice systems available , I dont want anything thats raspy , would be looking for more of a deep tone
