Milltek exhaust issue

I had my Milltek exhaust fitted yesterday, it was given to me when I bought the car so is second hand. Basically it sits VERY high, basically touching the bumper at all times but it definitely rattles against the bumper at times. Will the rubbers 'settle' at all? Or is there anything I can use between the bumper & the exhaust to stop any damage happening or to at least stop the rattle? If i do use something I'd want it to be that I can't see it. Thanks in advance

Hard to say without pics Is it a full system or just a back box ?
Shouldn't be touching anything bar the brackets holding it up

I'll try to take a picture when I'm back home tonight. It's a cat back system, I've had a few aftermarket exhausts on cars before but they've never sat quite as high as this one

I would personally take it back to the place that fitted it, explain what's happening and they should offer to adjust it.

I'm kind of screwed with that though because I live in Cornwall but was back visiting parents in the midlands this weekend so had it done there but am now back down south. I'll keep an eye out for any damage etc & may take it to my mechanic down here to see what he suggests.

On an aside, I think the rear end looks awesome now with the spacers on too, can't wait to upload a pic & see what u guys think

It should only be an adjustment or the welded hanging bracket for the rubber is bent or needs bending. It should not be a show stopper!!
