Cool Z4, nice record! Can you list all the issues, if any, you've had with the car?

He can't right now. He's pushing his car home. :D

58k on my 03

Umm, where can I start? Yes, I have had a lot of issues, but most of them were NOT engine or Drive Train related. Ok, maybe my ongoing squeak when I turn after the car has been run for a while that the "dealership can't reproduce"
I guess I have put my car thru the ringer while I have had it and I think that soon, there won't be any more parts to replace.
I take it almost everywhere, even in the dirt :telloff:
Lets see, how many can I remember.. :play:

Before you read this, remeber, not all Z4's have these many problems and mine is a Nov 2002 build, so it was close to being really one of the first run models, or maybe it was.
From my understanding, they fix the components as they find them to be defective.
So, here goes... :| :|
Gas Tank replaced due to the gas sensor inside going bad.
Other gas sensor replaced.
Both headlight housings replaced due to condensation on the inside.
Instrument cluster replaced
Radiator and hoses replaced at about 100k
3rd set of brake rotors. I guess I am hard on the brakes. :?
6th or 7th set of tires :D
Some sort of valve..heck I can't remember, but my car was stalling out and they diagnosed this problem.
Airbag light going on and replacing drivers and passenger sensors.
Various other things as well.
I did have one accident, where a Ford Focus decided to move over into the right lane while we were transitioning from one freeway to another. So, I got the drivers side replaced.
I am on my 3rd windshield and it needs to be replaced.
2nd nose due to those dang rubber snakes on the freeways. I need to replace this one as well.
What gripes me the most is it seems that when I take it to the dealer, I have to take it in at least twice to get whatever fixed.
So, I guess that is a long enough list. :drinking:  :happyclap:

10,000 - approx.

Now, how many MPGs do you all get? I average 25.4 (according to computer) in a 2.5. They're British gallons.

D.

Just went from 10k per year to about 15-17k. I put anouther 5k-10k on my Explorer during the snow months.

Cool Z4, I assume your car is an automatic? I guess if we all got to 142K without any major drivetrain or suspension problems we'd be very happy :) Even the exhaust and battery still going strong??

Long may your Z4 motor on

Yes, Steptronic and I did replace the battery a few months ago. Original exhaust system, though. :driving:

Bought mine in March with 3000 miles on, just clicked over 11000 last week.

So that's 8000 miles in 3 months... and it's my second car... oops!

About 10-12k a year. It's currently at 45k. Cool Z4, are you still using the original shocks?
