How many miles do you do in your zed?

I have gone from over 22,000 a year to just 6,000 with my change of job... It's great because when I go out at the weekend I appreciate the car so much more, and I don't cry when looking at the mileometer and the money jumping out my wallet (tyres/servicing/depretiation/petrol..etc..etc)
 
The wife drives 6 miles each day, 3 miles each way. In 33 almost 34 months we have accumulated 91K miles plus change. If you were to look at a AAA Auto Club map of California, They put noryhern on one side and southern California on the other. We highlight all routes taken on this map. With the exception of a few very remote roads on this map, we have been on most all major and secondary roads. With the exception of normal wear and tear items, Tires, oil, and brakes, the Z runs very well. I am beginning to think it's almost through the break in period.

Hmm, couldn't tell you exactly yet. Only had it 5 months and I have about 8,300 already and planning a road trip at the end of August.
 
Only had mine around 5 months also, but have only put about 1000 miles or so...it's purely pleasure, I haven't driven it in about 1 1/2 weeks or so. But when I do.... :driving:

Ok Ok, you got wise to me and that is also why I am going to Alaska 3 weeks before homecoming. gotta get the car broken in for the trip east. :driving: :thumbsup: :P

I put about 10k miles on last year, due to a change in work location this year that number is likely to jump up to around 15k. I drive about 80 miles per day round trip and even though I love to spend time behind the wheel of my Z4, I have to admit that the commute time is getting a bit old now.
 
I guess there must be some 2003 Z4s with 100,000 miles or near by now - wonder who on this forum has the record?
