Hit the 70k mark this week in my 3.0 Z4, wondered what other people have done? Seen a few at 80-90k for sale.

Bought mine with 68k and as I don't do many miles then it won't be above average by the time I sell. Bought it on condition etc and I guess 70k is not loads of miles for a 3.0 BMW engine. Hell my old 20vt Fiat Coupe was going strong at 115k (other than its oil drinking habit - but that is v common).

Whats the highest mileage Z on her?

I will start the list, add and modify as you reply....

1) Shabba 70k

Mines coming up to 4k so will be one of the lowest, though it only had 230 miles on the clock when i bought it 3 months ago :)

You aren't even close! CoolZ4 had a over one hundred thousand miles at homecoming last year.

I knew there was a thread somewhere. That's January, HC was in Aug/Sept. I remember at the banquet the last night, they wanted to know who had the most miles on their Zs. First the Z3s (I think there was someone over 200K) and then the Z4s. They started around 20K and kept going up. As we got close to 75K, the MC asked if CoolZ4 realized he WAS talking about a Z4 not a Z3. It was funny. All us Z4-forum pirates were

68k and going strong

I've put on nearly 20k miles in the past year.

When I add up the total miles that I have driven on 3 different Z4's since 2003 I am right at 110,000 miles... :driving:

I have a 2006 2.0 z4 with 115 000 miles on.
It used to be MD car for Bank Of Scotland.
Guess the credit crunch comes to us all!
It is still in fab condition, 5 Service Stamps already in book.
Hope It goes on for a few more years yet, and I would rather own a car that has been driven than one that is put in the garage to admire and bring out on a Sunny Sunday in June!
No Faults at all Yet, so all those Motorway Miles seem to have done little harm.
Will keep you all updated.
Happy Driving....
