well after a nice drive out yesterday the mileage on my ///M is 50 miles from hitting 50k, but when i work it out for an 8 year old car its averaged just over 6,200 a year, whats most folks mileage like on there ///M's these days, I'm quite lucky i only use mine at weekends so it will stay low for years to come cheers Andy

Why do you say your lucky to only use it at weekends. Surely that's unlucky??

"Lucky" here too, wouldn't want it as a commuter car, every mile is an enjoyment mile for me, no unnecessary motorway slogging

Anyway, 07 plate on 30k miles, 3-4k per annum for me.

Well I am "Lucky" not to commute, so I use mine whenever I want. Use my girlfriends car for the short shopping trips though. :D

Tbh I would say the "general" average would be 50-60k now , and next year the average will be closer 60k and the following closer 70k so as the years go by so will the averages increase so its all relative. When I sold my old Imola Z4MC 2 years ago it had 60k on the clock and was considered a little high now 2 years later its bang on average. So I would not worry to much if you average about 5-7k a year you stick with the trend

My new Z4MC is an 07 which has just ticked over 60k, and I will do under 5k a year I reckon as its a 3rd car.

shameful to say....

11990 miles :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :|
wish i could get more use, business has been REALLY turbulent for the last few years, throw in the very unexpected lone parenthood to my 3 year old ( had him when he was only 2 months old and didn't have a clue what i was doing, lol) z4m use has really taken a beating over the last few years, so i ended up sticking on jack stands, buying loads of parts ( where the surcharging and general hoard of mods came from) and worked on it during the nights when i had a stolen hour or so as respite away from work stress and a real struggle of lone parenthood/trying to juggle the two, the sleepless nights that came with a baby coupled with trying to run an ever changing business very nearly cracked me...

in the end i came to conclusion I'm just pleased to own my pride and joy and eventually it will start to see more use, and slowly but surely... the plans coming good. This year i did 6 sprint events and a good slog of just running around. The car does looks and smell like a new car, its pristine, then again... so it should!!!!! i wouldn't be without it, in its own way, it gave me an escape ( in my head at least). not a sob story, just how it was :-) son is now 3.5, doing great, loves the car and our house is a fun zone for both of us, and i have a mega petrol head in the making, wouldn't go back and change anything for where we are today :) ...

Congrats on looking after a baby single handed  , and that mileage is unbelievable, I bet it looks and smells like new, that would be my dream mileage

man + baby + left alone together = chaos!! lmao!!

yeah its literally like new... owned it 7 or 8 years now.... it'll be a sad day when/ if i decide to sell it on for a new challenge.

110k km. Drive it all the time and when it goes pop I'll shove a V8 in it. Not interested in selling it so mileage is not important, rather the sheer fun of driving it on the road.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday.
ESS SC'd V8

08 plate acquired with 42k on it. Since nudged that up to 56k in 7months, and although i planned to daily drive and enjoy every minute, i just cant do it. And leaving it parked on our construction sites means im curtain twitching all day too :P

"invested" in a ford mundano to take daily duties. Plus side is that by the weekend im itching to get the zed out. And the drop in fuel/tax bill should fund some mods :driving:

As it happens Bish I've just picked up a mondeo for my daily work duties, to me it makes the weekends so much better to look forward too knowing my ///M is sitting there waiting to put a huge grin on my face :driving:

Mines over 40k now, was 12k when I bought it 3 1/2 years ago. Does seem to be doing a few less miles, since I replaced my 323FSport with the 3Sport, as the 3Sport is a great little daily driver, that I also enjoy chucking around corners at the weekend.

Or it might be that the guys on the Mazda MPS forum SW, come out to play more than the Z4 forum SW crew. (little :poke: there)

At least the Notheners from Bristol enjoy driving their Zeds. :driving:

while i was out today enjoying a lovely sunny days drive here in Suffollk, i hit the 50K mark, luckily i was on some quite back roads so took a pic,
im now in a different group for the milage bracket :driving:

40, 270 and I'm out

the targa however is on 10.2k not bad for an 09 car -> next year though the plan is to add 50 % on this via Reims, Monaco, Modena, Stuttgart and home :driving:

this was the state of play in te spring http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=63758&p=975074&hilit=mileage#p975074
