Are they D2 coilovers?
Im still trying to decide between the D2s and the spax :/
How well do the wheels fit? any scraping on the arch?
I had some on my old 3 series and they ruined my arches ha

No they are BC coilovers, decided on them because I've used them in the past, good pieces of kit!

Well I've only done about 10 miles so far! There is a bit of scraping on bumps, but obviously you can stop that by simply raising it up.

But I prefer it slammed..

I've just bought a set of these, but won't have a chance to fit them for a few weeks - would be good to hear your feedback.

A nice set of alloys and a drop always transforms a car. I like the Black claws, they look sweet as

Cheers guys, I was also surprised how easy it was to fit them. In the past I've always experienced seized bolts etc, but on the Z4 no such issues!
The shelf for the softtop was also very simple to remove, the guides scared me a bit but with a bit of patience was pretty easy!

Thanks, I haven't got any pictures of the interior I'm afraid, nothing special about it though really :lol: Just a lot of brushed aluminium!

And yes that is a hardtop Was included when I brought it! The weathers looking like its nearly time to get it back on!

Mike46, Quick question regarding the BC coilovers.

Which spring rate did you choose on them front / rear ?

6/8 kg (front /rear)

or

7/8 kg (front / rear)

To be honest I never looked into it, but I have got the 7/8 as this is the part listed for all Z4 models except the M.
The Z4M has the 6/8 springs specified.
I can only assume the weight distribution of the M is different, as it is actually heavier.

Thought I would update with this with what I've done recently, basically I got bored! :lol: so I dug out my sub and amp and got it fitted!

Wasn't too difficult to install, only took a few hours to get all the wires in, so it started out looking like this!

But I needed a way of fixing the amp in place, and also wanted to do a proper install so that it looked a bit nicer! So I set at cutting the wood to shape!

I then covered both parts in felt, and fixed down the amp with the cables going down through the base to hide them underneath.

Then all fitted together and installed in the car!

Its not top notch by any means, but as my first attempt at any kind of boot install I'm chuffed with it! Doesn't sound too bad either!

I also fitted some new number plate LEDs, they're actually OEM units off a facelift 1 Series. So no worries about cheap aftermarket LEDs as my previous LED bulbs started flickering.

Haha no, my boot very rarely gets used!

They are 63 26 7 193 294, all you have to do is cut the coding off the plug so that the connector fits.

Got a few presents for the Zed so wasted no time getting them fitted!!

First was a ZHP gearstick, haven't driven it yet but it looks great! Much shorter than the standard one!

Next was a splitter!! [emoji2] took a while to fit this as I encountered some issues, but really happy with it now!

Got some aero wind wipers to fit, and then clean it with the mountain of detailing stuff I got!

Absolutely! The fog light is next! Along with replacing my broken centre brake light!

Well I've been waiting a while for this, but finally I've had my car wrapped!

I'm sure this will split opinion on here as to whether a wrap is worth it or not, but I'm well chuffed with it!

The colour is quite a deep candy red, which has quite a lot of "pop" in the sun, but quite hard to show well in pictures (with no sun and my poor photography! :lol: )

Also fitted a new fog light due to fogging issues

that is exactly how i wanted mine. its an awesome colour and im glad i have seen a Z4 with it done now. looks amazing
