So, this happened at work today to a coworkers car. Parked right next to mine.
Gardening contractors ride on mower threw up stones apparently.

Feel for the guy, but rather him than me. :D IMG_4350.jpeg

Looks like that is a frequent occurrence at your work, judging by the fact that everybody reverses into their spaces. Rear windows are cheaper than windscreens! :)

Hope someone witnessed it or the gardeners will just deny it was them? Either that or their insurers will ask for proof

That's good news for the guy you parked next too.

No doubt you will be looking for that car again and keep parking next to it. Either that or well away from where there is grass. :D

Car park rule, reverse parking only.

We had that at the last place I worked
It worked really well. H&S really
Before the reverse parking rule the majority of people left in the evening over a short space of time and were reversing out into oncoming traffic or passing pedestrians (not to mention in a hurry to beat the rest of the traffic

Whereas now it is a lot easier to see traffic/pedestrians, and drivers arriving over a larger timeframe in a morning are not in a hurry and have time to reverse park (or find slots where they can drive through to make it look like they have  )

Added benefit the car park looks really neat/tidy. A number of our suppliers and customers took it on board as well

Lucky escape [ref]Scubaregs[/ref], what are your numbers? :D

As for reverse parking, excluding [ref]Pondrew[/ref] neolithic sexist remarks :P, we have a new CIP manager trying to encourage by force this reverse parking philosophy, to equal objection by all genders. I always reverse park, so don't really care. It's easier to reverse park than drive in forwards.

Reverse parking is much safer for everyone. The number of people I see reversing off their drives onto a busy road and having near misses with cars, cyclists and pedestrians amazes me.

At our work we have a reverse park policy, for fear of the boss having a word. Looks neater for visitors.

When i hand in my notice i will be sure to park diagonally across three spaces on my last day
