Gaydon this weekend - have a look in the Meet section. I'll be going, I'm a midlander too.

Lots of zeds travelling from all parts of the country !

You can pay at the gate - although you don't get to park on the display stand like me though :P

I applied via the BMW Car Club as they were offering a £2 discount for pre-purchasing the tickets, and I was also told by the chairman of the M-register that they wanted some Z4Ms on display and to ask for a display pass (they've all gone now though).

Ah, I see. Might be tempted to go on Sunday, but not if the weather is bad. Hope its a good day. :)
 
I cannot make Gaydon, but up for a mini mids meet sometime, away at end of August, but early Sept would be good.
 
I'm going - looked at the weather forecast and it looks ok? PM if anyone wants to meet to do a mini convoy there??
 
Bump for this meeting !! I say Hams Hall (coleshill) on a Sunday afternoon, about 5pm..... Does anybody know what Im really talking about ?
 
..... Actually, it gets shut down by the police all too soon so we couldn't use it as a meeting place, Wherever it is, Solihull bound peeps can meet up at Brueton park before hand (thats 3 of us) , we can get the Sutton / Streetly massive on the way somewhere (Andy is up Lichfield way ???) Bulls head in Meriden does good food ? Any thoughts ?
 
I've got a guess now from your last post although still not really any the wiser.

Is this a weekly occurance?
 
Yes it is, its er..... ridiculous to say the least !! Bit of a chav fest but some tasty motors up there (alongside all the junk).

i'll film it next week and put some vids up :thumbsup:
 
I'm up for a meet as just back from a 2 week deprivation of Z4 driving having suffered a 308 diesel in sunny Spain.

Post a date when you're going and I can tag along if you'll let me :)
 
Sorry C10, I was thinking after I wrote that I missed you off, now you have 4 exhausts I wont complain :poke:
 
Come to think of it, we did see one stretch of dualtrack with pimped up cars littering the verges.. got a few thumbs up as i went past but wasn't really sure what was going on.

Was that it ? :D
 
Most likely thats the same place, or at least the stretch up to the M42 roundabout / A446 ..... like I said, sometimes it gets very ridiculous, and the police always show up sooner or later (everyone then goes up the road , and they are back later !)

A convoy of Z4 M's would looks cool as fcuk, but I advise against meeting up at that point !! Its nicely near Streetly / Lichfield / Sutton / Solihull tho
